Capture leads without being pushy
When to show forms, what to ask, and how to follow up on WhatsApp respectfully.
When to show a lead form
Put forms on pages where someone already showed intent — after a video, pricing section, or “book a call” block. On cold traffic, lead with value (PDF, demo, story) and offer the form as step two, not the first thing they see.
What to ask (and what to skip)
Name and WhatsApp number are enough for most promoters. Optional: city or “best time to chat.” Skip long surveys on mobile; you can qualify in the first WhatsApp message instead.
Follow-up scripts that respect POPIA
Reference what they viewed (“You asked about the coaching page”). Ask permission to call or voice note. If they don’t reply after two polite follow-ups, pause — persistence without value feels pushy.
Team rotation and handoffs
When a lead lands with a rotated member, send an intro within an hour: who you are, why you’re reaching out, and one helpful resource. Leaders should audit response times monthly so the system stays fair and professional.
